1. Definitions

1.1. Platform: The services provided by Small Transfers, including the website and associated applications.

1.2. Small Transfers Credit (STC): A unit of account used by the Platform to facilitate the tracking of Services provided by Merchants to Customers. Each STC is pegged to 1 USD for internal accounting purposes only. STCs do not hold monetary value outside of the Platform, and are not redeemable for cash or other forms of currency. They are used exclusively to quantify and manage transactions within the platform.

1.3. Service: A product or service provided by a Merchant to a Customer, where payment for this service is facilitated by the Platform.

1.4. Merchant: A user of the Platform who provides one or more Service to Customers, where payment for these Services is facilitated by the Platform.

1.5. Customer: A user of the Platform who uses one or more Services provided by Merchants, where payment for these Services is facilitated by the Platform.

1.6. Ambassador: A user of the Platform who refers Merchants to the Platform.

3. Registration

3.1. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information during the registration process, and to update such information to keep it accurate, up-to-date, and complete.

4. Legal & Fair Usage

4.1. You agree not to exploit or misuse the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Using the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent activities, including but not limited to money laundering, terrorist financing, or deceptive commercial practices.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or personal information.
  • Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotional offers provided by the Platform.
  • Interfering with or attempting to disrupt the proper functioning of the Platform, including any technological measures we employ to control access or data.
  • Using the Platform in any manner that could interfere with, disrupt, negatively affect, or inhibit other users from fully enjoying the services, or that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the functioning of the Platform in any manner.

5. Payments and Fees

5.1. Buying STCs: STCs can be bought by Customers using USD through supported third-party payment processors, such as Stripe. We charge Customers a 3.25% + 0.26 USD fee to cover secure payment processing costs.

5.2. Using STCs: Customers use their STCs to make use of Services provided by the Merchants. STCs are used purely to track how much of the amount paid by each Customer should be paid out to which Merchant.

5.3. Refunds: Customers can request refunds for unused STCs. The refund amount is based on the number of unused STCs, and is paid out to the source of funds originally used to buy these STCs. Note that the original processing fee is non-refundable.

5.4. Payouts: Merchants can request payouts. The payout amount is calculated based on STC usage described in (5.2), and is subject to fees (Merchant Fee and any bank transaction fees). After appropriate verifications, the payouts are processed in USD.

5.5. Merchant Fee: The Merchant Fee is 3%. There are no fixed fees, no monthly charges, and no hidden costs.

5.6. Taxes: Merchants are responsible for determining, tracking, and handling all applicable taxes, including sales tax and VAT, associated with their services.

5.7. Ambassador Program: Ambassadors are entitled to 50% of the Merchant Fee charged to each Merchant that they referred to the Platform, up to 1000 USD per Merchant. Ambassadors can request payouts. The payout amount is calculated based on STC usage described in (5.2), and is subject to bank transaction fees and taxes. After appropriate verifications, the payouts are processed in USD.

5.8. Fee Changes: We reserve the right to change our fees. In such cases, we will make every effort to provide sufficient notice and be both fair and transparent.

6. Data Privacy

7. Termination

7.1. You can request to close your account at any time.

7.2. We reserve the right to close your account if you violate these Terms of Service.

7.2.1. Upon closure of a Customer account, any remaining STC balance will be refunded unless retention is required by law, or if the balance is associated with fraudulent activities or breaches of these Terms of Service.

7.2.2. Upon closure of a Merchant account, any accumulated STC eligible for payout will be processed unless retention is required by law, or if the funds are associated with fraudulent activities, breaches of these Terms of Service, or are under dispute.

8.1. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for:

  • Losses not directly caused by our actions.
